A Copy-Cat Contest...

Ok, a blogging friend, Morgan, had this rockin' good contest over at her fun blog, where her readers got to ask her any questions they wanted. Her contest ends tonight and tomorrow she will randomly draw a name for the grand prize, which is yet to be announced. I had so much fun participating in her contest, so I thought I would have one on my blog.

Sooooo.... you all can ask me any questions you would like. For every question you ask, your name will be entered into the contest for a prize to be announced at a later date. Meaning the more questions you ask, the more chances you have to win. The contest will run from tonight until the 30th of the April.

Ta-ta for a while....

So tomorrow we are headed to Des Moines for something called TeenPact. It's something that is suppose to get kids involved with government, but it helps them view it all with a Biblical perspective. Chris, Tim, Tiff and I are going to be there for the entire week. We'll be at the capitol all day from 9 am to 3 pm, doing whatever you do at a state capitol. Then for the rest of the afternoon we'll be back at the camp, where are staying, playing ultimate frisbee until supper, then supper, a worship time, and games before bed.

Repeat this for four days.

On Friday there is a public speaking class. Oh. I should mention that I am making the 2 hour drive home to work on Thursday morning and then back to Des Moines that night.

And you know what the best part of this saga is?! I am too old to take the class itself and a loop hole was found so I could still tag along.

I'm a chaperone!!

And what the perks of this position are that I wasn't crunched to get all the pre-class homework done. Soooooo, yay for being old! *smile*

Why am I continuing on this boring monologe??? Good question. No really, I just thought I would let you know that I'll be absent from the blogging world for the week. Didn't want anyone worrying that I fell off the side of the earth. I mean, not that you would, but I figured it'd be good to have all our bases covered. Ok. I'll stop. REALLY. Check back soon tho' for lots of pictures!

Oh the agony!

::Do you know::

- the desire to tell the delightful events that are happening around our house these past couple weeks??
- the terrible pains that come from having hundreds of pictures to post as visuals with those stories (well, okay, maybe not hundreds, but surely dozens!!)
- the sorrow that comes from the knowledge of what ya'll are missing out on!!
- even more the need-to-bite-the-bullet-pain that comes from not being able to share?!?!

::But don't be discouraged, because I have decided to pull myself out of the slump I have been in because of the above mentioned facts. The primary reasons being as follows:

1) Due to the kind actions of my bosses in allowing me borrow their flash drive to transport pictures and use their very speedy high-speed computer, I will be able to post pictures someday soon. (Soon being after Christmas and New Years.) [Thanks guys, I will always look to you as my benefactor/benefactoress!! Hugs!) 2) And also because I have come to the decision that words only beats silence any day!
