I have been humbled.

Lately I've been complaining that I will be sitting alone again this Valentines Day.  As frustrating as it is, I read this horrifically sad story and
decided to start counting my blessings instead of lack.  How much worse to be sitting alone because of that.

My Valentines Day will come where I can light candles, cook a dinner, and get all dressed up for my man.  But until then, I choose to revel in the goodness of God today.

That is a very sad story. I can't even imagine the guilt he is going to face for the rest of his life! How sad, and how we are blessed.

Thank you for sharing.

Kind of funny that you mentioned this. I actually CELEBRATED that this is my 19th Valentine's day a single gal. I don't know why {and maybe it's because I'm not much of a romantic} but it doesn't bother me too much. Really, at all. About Valentine's Day. Now in life in general...sometimes. I try to ignore it and know it'll happen someday. :)

It's good to look on the bright side.

But, I know how it is being single on V-Day - NOT FUN! (especially when you're in the 20's - ugh). Last year, I worked for the flower shop in town delivering flowers and it was the best V-Day ever. I would highly recommend handing out flowers to people - they could be random - whatever - but it'll make you smile!

Did you participate in the chocolate swap hosted by the IDD Blog?

This comment is so long I should've sent you an email.

I'll be thinking of you and all of us other "singles" (as we call ourselves at my church) on V-Day.

I have yet to come up with a non-sarcastic funny name for the day to celebrate the single life. Maybe you and Tiff can think of something. Ya'll have a wonderful sense of humor.

I really should have sent you an email.

Have a wonderful day!

My goodness....whoever he is will probably be one awesome guy....and worth the wait. Maybe God hasn't gotten him to "awesomeness" yet!
